Top Down Rentals is based on the shores of beautiful Lake Macquarie - gateway to the Hunter Valley, Central and Mid-North Coast, Newcastle and Port Stephens.
You can follow the convict trails as they work their way north from Sydney, laze on the clear white sandy beaches of Newcastle, discover the remnants of one of Australia's largest inland ports, experience nature at its most rugged or simply kick back and relax on a quiet hillside with a mouth-watering picnic hamper.
And of course there's the magnificent Hunter Valley, one of Australia's major wine regions with a viticultural history dating back to the early 1800s. Known for varietals such as Semillon and Shiraz, it’s home to over 150 wineries including world-renowned brands as well as smaller family-run boutique operations. Many are located south of the Hunter River and offer cellar door wine tastings and vineyard tours.
